GEOLOGY AND EXPLORATION

GEOLOGY AND EXPLORATION

1. Literature review, field work and data collection

Collection, compilation and review of existing data. Selection of commodity, deposit type, exploration method and establishment of an exploration program and budget, generation of initial targets based on existing data, planning and follow-up of trenches, shafts and drilling.

2. Database management

GIS database management, drilling data management and validation, environmental database, 2D/3D geological and geotechnical mapping.

3. Geochemistry and geophysics

Design and implementation of geochemical and geophysical surveys, data acquisition, validation and interpretation, QA/QC reporting of data and interpretations.

4. 3D geological modeling

Analysis, integration and validation of historical mining data in a 3D environment, overall integration of 2D and 3D GIS data, ore distribution analysis, stratigraphic and structural modeling.

5. Modeling and resource estimation

Geostatistical study, evaluation of ore quantity and quality, QA/AC analysis and reporting, creation of 2D and 3D mineralization models, resource classification and reporting (JORC, NI 43-101 & SAMREC), grade control and reconciliation.

6. Grade control and reconciliation

Production of operating plans based on classified grades, monitoring of drilling and grade control trenching activities, monitoring of mine excavation, prospecting and pit sampling, periodic reconciliation of production.
